Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to store subscription plans purchased through the StoreBase platform. Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Subscription Plans

We offer monthly store subscription plans (Basic and Pro). Upon successful payment, our team provisions your online store promptly. Your subscription includes access to the store admin panel, a subdomain or custom domain, and all features included in your selected plan.

3. Cancellation Before Provisioning

If your store has not yet been provisioned (set up), you may request a cancellation and receive a full refund:

  • Contact us via email or WhatsApp as soon as possible after payment
  • Provide your order details (name, email, payment reference)
  • If provisioning has not started, we will process a full refund

4. Cancellation After Provisioning

Once your store has been provisioned and credentials have been shared with you:

  • The subscription is considered activated and is non-refundable
  • You may choose not to renew at the end of your billing cycle
  • Your store will remain active until the end of the paid period

5. Refund Eligibility

Full Refund

A full refund will be issued in the following cases:

  • Payment was charged but the store was not provisioned within 24 hours, and you request a cancellation
  • Duplicate or accidental payment
  • Technical failure on our end preventing store setup, which cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe

Partial Refund

Partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis if:

  • The store was provisioned but critical features promised in your plan are not functional and cannot be resolved
  • Service downtime exceeds 72 consecutive hours due to issues on our platform (not third-party services)

No Refund

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after the store has been provisioned and credentials delivered
  • Failure to use the store or add products during the subscription period
  • Issues caused by your own actions (e.g., accidental data deletion, misconfiguration)
  • Third-party service disruptions (Cashfree, domain registrar, etc.)

6. Refund Process

  1. Contact us via email or WhatsApp with your refund request, including your order details and reason
  2. Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
  3. If approved, the refund will be initiated to your original payment method
  4. Refunds typically reflect in your account within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

7. Plan Upgrades

If you upgrade from Basic to Pro during an active subscription:

  • You will be charged the difference between the two plans (pro-rated)
  • Upgrades take effect immediately
  • Upgrade payments are non-refundable once the Pro features are activated

8. Plan Downgrades

Downgrading from Pro to Basic is not available during an active billing cycle. You may choose the Basic plan at renewal.

9. Cancellation by StoreBase

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend your store if:

  • The store is used for illegal, fraudulent, or prohibited activities
  • Payment fails or is disputed/charged back without valid reason
  • Violation of our Terms of Service

In such cases, no refund will be provided. We will notify you before taking any action, except in cases of clear fraud or illegal activity.
